Nothing can replace personal contact. That is certainly one of the key learnings of the past months. Our booth at Automechanika Frankfurt (Hall 3.0, B50) will be the meeting point for the automotive aftermarket with the focus on exchanging ideas among experts. In the film studio at the upper floor of our booth we will record talks with our customers and partners that will provide important impetus for the digital future of the industry. In the E-Commerce Lounge hosted by eBay (Hall 4.0, F 61B), the TecDoc data standard will be presented as the basis for success in online marketplaces.
“We are delighted to unite the community at our booth. Our focus this year is clearly on personal exchange with our customers and partners,” explains Christian Müller, Vice President Marketing. “The demand for meetings with our product managers is extremely high and the ‘talk-to-an-expert’ area at our stand is already well booked.”

Innovative talk formats on trending topics
We will create a professional content studio on the upper floor of the booth. We will record various talk formats that will be distributed via our social media channels and website after the fair.
“In discussions with our partners and customers, we will pick up on various topics and trends from the automotive aftermarket and provide assessments of new developments and innovative business ideas. We are looking forward to interesting discussions with very different talk guests.”
Christian Müller, Vice President Marketing
Success in e-commerce with TecDoc
We will also have a booth in the E-Commerce Networking Lounge hosted by eBay in Hall 4.0, F 61B. “We are pleased to show, with our long-standing partner eBay and other partners from our ecosystem, how parts manufacturers and dealers can successfully use the TecDoc Standard and our solutions to make the most of the potential in e-commerce,” says Christian.
The TecDoc Standard has enabled the fast and precise identification of replacement parts and vehicles for almost 30 years. It forms the basis of the TecDoc Catalogue, the world’s leading spare parts catalogue for the automotive aftermarket, and of many other catalogue systems. The standard also enables automated and digitised process solutions along the entire supply chain. With a large-scale data quality initiative, TecDoc is steadily increasing confidence in online purchasing. Excellent data quality leads to more orders, fewer returns and better service.
In two presentations, Christian Müller will speak with Artur Oswald, Managing Director of our long-standing partner Retromotion GmbH, about the value chain in e-commerce – from the description of products in compliance with the TecDoc Standard to successful sales via online platforms.
The keynotes entitled “Retail is detail. The importance of data in e-commerce” will take place on 13 September at 2 pm and on 15 September at 11 am in the E-Commerce Networking Lounge in Hall 4.0, Stand F61. Registration is not required.
