The industry is finally coming together again at Automechanika Frankfurt and of course, we will also be there. At stand B50 in Hall 3.0 and in the eBay e-commerce lounge in Hall 4.0 F 61B, we will present our latest developments and proven solutions that support parts manufacturers, wholesalers and workshops in digitisation, process optimisation and e-commerce.
Excellent data management in real time ensures success in e-commerce
For success in the automotive aftermarket, speed of response, timeliness and accuracy of product data are crucial. The importance of online commerce is growing rapidly around the world, and so is the need for high-quality data that enables products to be identified accurately and ordered correctly.
TecDoc is increasing customer confidence in online purchasing with a large-scale data quality initiative. Excellent data quality leads to more orders, fewer returns and better service. The customised catalogue and web shop solutions based on TecDoc data supported the aftermarket community in setting up and optimising their e-commerce activities.
We will also present our new data management solution DMM Online. With this intuitive online tool, parts manufacturers can manage their product range in TecDoc standard and make it available at the point of sale.
Data is transmitted via the innovative TecDoc Instant Data Processing (IDP) interface: this shortens the time to market and updates can be carried out almost in real time. All data transmitted via IDP is immediately integrated and published worldwide in the TecDoc Catalogue and all catalogue solutions based on TecDoc data.
Optimal processes from availabilty request to return
The TecCom solutions cover all processes related to order processing in the automotive aftermarket – from availability request and parts ordering to electronic invoices and returns.
The basis for automating these processes is optimum message quality from the parts suppliers, with the highest possible standardisation and data consistency. With the “TecCom Excellence Program“, we offer wholesalers an efficient tool to compare their suppliers. The rating system acts as a business catalyst, allowing buyers to evaluate new partnerships and strengthen existing business relationships.
Complaints and returns are a big issue – also in the automotive aftermarket. Professional and transparent processes can minimise the time and costs required for these tasks and at the same time increase customer satisfaction and loyalty in the long term. TecCom Returns enables standardised and transparent processing of returns and warranty claims. Via the online portal, wholesalers can create warranty and returns claims immediately and free of charge and transmit them to all their suppliers worldwide. Workshops can enter returns claims quickly and easily via the Garage Link, even without access to the TecCom Portal.
TecRMI: Optimum workshop service from making an appointment to handing over the vehicle
TecRMI supports processes in workshops, trade and e-commerce with standardised, OE-compliant repair and maintenance information for all common vehicle manufacturers. With TecRMI, workshops increase the efficiency of their workflows and thus save time and costs.
The new TecRMI Service Book offers a standardised and simple process for recording online service book entries for various vehicle manufacturers. The new online tool allows workshops to quickly and easily document the maintenance work they have carried out with simply a few clicks. This preserves warranty and goodwill rights and keeps the resale value of the vehicle stable.
The TecRMI Document Scanner makes it even easier to create online service book entries and also facilitates vehicle acceptance at the workshop. Based on a scan or photo of the vehicle registration document, vehicle and customer data are quickly and conveniently recorded digitally. For a cost estimate, the required replacement parts and work steps can directly be determined.
Full cost control and efficient processes for fleet managers
Our TecFleet solutions offer high added value for the fleet and leasing sector. Based on manufacturer-compliant TecRMI data, the maintenance and wear-and-tear costs of vehicles can be precisely calculated and thus the future operating costs determined.
The plausibility check of invoices and the approval of workshop orders can be automated – saving time and costs. The complete maintenance history in the electronic vehicle file ensures the greatest possible transparency.
We are looking forward to intensive discussions and close exchange with the aftermarket community – at our booth B50 in hall 3.0 and in the eBay e-commerce lounge in hall 4.0 at booth F 61B.
